Lisa Wright

Director - Government Affairs & Advocacy

Lisa Wright is CASL’s Director of Government Affairs & Advocacy. Lisa has extensive experience in leading policy and advocacy initiatives, developing community engagement programs, and managing multimillion-dollar strategic partnerships. In 2022, she won two awards for research on the Women, Peace, and Security Act and its impact on U.S. foreign relations. Lisa has also successfully led efforts to pass legislation and secure funding in education, public safety, gender equity, and workforce development in Washington, DC.

Lisa holds a Master in Public Administration from Georgetown University. In the past, she was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Indonesia, and she is fluent in English, Mandarin Chinese, and Indonesian. In her spare time, Lisa enjoys hiking, boxing, and spending time with loved ones.
